Whether you like to get down to Madonna or Kim Petras, get ready to serve your best looks and dance moves as the Columbus Lesbian & Gay Softball Association proudly presents Unity Prom at the historic Ohio Statehouse on Saturday, April 15 from 7-10:30.

Consider this a do-over for those who didn’t get to be their authentic selves at prom, except this time around the punch will be spiked, the prom court will be non-gendered, and the entertainment will be fierce with pop-up performances from Virginia West, Maya Bizness, Clinica Deprecious, Riley Poppyseed, Edna Mwah and Six Foot Blonde Band's Anne Wilson!.

All adults 18+ are welcome at the GAYla of the year in support of Kaleidoscope Youth Center. Tickets are $30 suggested (or pay what you can), and you should wear whatever makes you feel fabulous!

FAQ

You’ve got questions & we’ve got answers! Here’s some of the most-asked questions from others attending the event. Let us know if you have questions we haven’t addressed here.

What is the dress code for Unity Prom?
While we highly encourage taking advantage of this excuse to don formal or semi-formal attire, please feel free to wear whatever makes you feel fabulous!
Where do I park?
Attendees can park in the Statehouse’s underground parking garage. This convenient and affordable parking solution offers direct sheltered access to the Ohio Statehouse. We highly encourage those who plan on drinking to utilize Uber/Lyft or COTA (N High St & W Broad St stop) to fully enjoy the prom party!
Which entrance do I use for the statehouse?
Two public entrances will be available to access Unity Prom: Third Street of the Senate Building and the southwest sliding-glass doors from the underground parking garage.
What’s the security situation?
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is responsible for all security on Capitol Square. All attendees will be required to go through security upon entering the Statehouse and all bags, packages or personal items carried into Capitol Square are subject to inspection and X-ray.
